Laser 917 body types is an interesting subject. No one knows for certain (other than Gerry Knapp) what designations were given to the different body changes made through the production run. We can be sure the first one was a 'TYPE A'. Also, we know for a fact that the last set of molds made were "Type D" from conversations with previous builders (Dale Haines of Haines Coachworks and Neal Hardy of Hardy Motors).

So, is it safe to say there was only a "TYPE B" and TYPE C" in between? Again, no one knows for sure, but hopefully with this page, we will be able to figure it out.
